Meet Our Writers' Groups Facilitators
"I love writing plays, tv pilots and screenplays. The work allows for catharses and conclusions that may never be realised in real life. It is a playground we get to create for actors. I write early in the morning (after a tea or coffee depending on how I slept) and often spend most of my time trying to get to know each of my characters and what their goals for my piece are. I love discovering new writers. Each writer has a window on the world they see and how they interpret it. This is what makes their work unique. Rather than criticise I prefer to ask questions about the work and the direction the writer wants it to go in; to provide the bumpers when needed or simply to discuss the work and the world of the characters the writer has created."
